d&t Chartered Accountants are the UK’s market leading Franchise Network Accountants. d&t Chartered Accountants wanted to rationalise their printing environment to reduce cost and waste, improve data capture and storage of sensitive documents, and simplify access to printer service information.

Nustream carried out a needs assessment to understand the current print environment and document management needs. As a result Nustream recommended a new Xerox SMART i-Series ConnectKey multifunctional printer (MFP) providing out-of-the- box technology to manage and reduce print costs. The inbuilt ConnectKey technology provided the capability for a customised data capture workflow process linking existing IT infrastructure, the new MFP, smartphones/tablets to intelligently capture and index documents to DropBox. As standard Nustream provide high level reporting on a quarterly basis to the customer using the Xerox Business Intelligence dashboard reporting tool to monitor the environment. A software solution was also installed so d&t can track user printing habits. The Xerox Support Assistant app on the MFP provides d&t with easy access to service information 24/7.

The result:

  • Simple to use, inbuilt technology that does not require advanced administration and will support the customer to reduce printing costs by 30% over the next 12 months.
  • An intuitive Business Intelligence dashboard reporting tool that is easy to understand and will help d&t, together with nustream, develop their digital strategy with less paper.
  • A customised document capture solution which allows staff to intelligently search and retrieve information saving time and money spent searching for documents. The document capture solution has also enabled mobile workers to collaborate and access important information on the go.
